Hyperion is the Ancient Greek Titan god of heavenly light and watchfulness. “Hyperion” means “he that walks on high” or simply “the god above”.
Inspired by Baroque and Rococo ceiling frescoes, I aimed the piece to evoke an abstract celestial airy feeling - since it is displayed in a light filled 25th floor of a sky rise apartment - while preserving my signature style futuristic dynamic energy and detail.
